LEt your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
"KINGDOM WORK IS NOT DONE UNTIL YOU'RE IN THE KINGDOM"
-REV. LINDSEY MURPHY
Pastor Lindsey Murphy is happily married for 14 years to Neil and have two children, Ora and Otto. They currently live in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She currently holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Pastoral License with the Church of the Nazarene. She started her career in alternative education then moved to working with other teachers to assist in reaching that same population in a traditional high school and is now back in the classroom full time. She has recently received the Teacher of the Year at Harrison High School in 2016-2017 school year. As well as was a finalist for the Teacher of the Year for Farmington Public School District.
She has worked with the children and youth of her local church since 2000 and recently moved to working with all ages. Over the last 16 years she has served in multiple capacities. Everything from the Caravan program to Interim Youth Pastor to guest speaker at district youth camp. There is incredible power in sharing a message of redemption and grace with our youth who are so often afflicted with a world that would call them anything but worthy.
In addition to working with youth, Lindsey has been able to share the pulpit with her local pastor as well as other denominational pastors. God has impressed upon her the necessity to preach about the transformational power of the Holy Spirit, and these opportunities have only stimulated that passion further to use the story and gift of teaching for His Kingdom.
Lindsey grew up in a Christian home and has always been surrounded by strong Christian influences. However throughout life she encountered many trials, but in one way or the other the Lord always drew her back.
As a 'church kid' she realized there was a gap in her learning. She knew that Jesus Christ died for her sins, but the question still remained "Why for me?" This question has led Lindsey to her passion to see the lost and still seeking come to know who they are and who they can be through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Too often we misunderstand that Christ desires more than just “Yes.” In fact, He desires to build a deeply rooted relationship that leads to total surrender and utter obedience. When you left the altar you probably wondered what would be next, and if nurtured, you are on the path. However, when left to your own devices we can begin to feel like failures in Christ’s eyes. Christ desires to call you His treasure not His failure.

Building a direct relationship with Jesus Christ, Lindsey is daily in the word and devotions listening to the call on her life. She devotes her abiding time to receive the word from the Lord. From teaching a small group or large crowd she fully allows the Holy Spirit to give her the words to share and to impact people's lives.
the vocation or calling of a religious organization, especially a Christian one, to go out into the world and spread its faith.
"the Christian mission"
As a disciple of Jesus she would be remiss if she did not use the story Christ gave her to help others. If you are tired of the hamster wheel of faith or simply desire to know more about your identity with our Heavenly Father, Lindsey would like to share her story of transformation with you and how to find your true identity in Christ.
God has made it very clear to her that she has one call and that is to preach the authentic truth of love and hope of Jesus Christ.
